Silcarb has been awarded a prestigious order from a tier 1 supplier of auto parts to a Japanese two-wheeler plant in Bangalore.
The furnace is coupled directly to the diecasting machine and uses a duel energy source where the melting of the alloy is gas-fired and the holding is electric. Silcarb is using its in house manufactured immersion heater in the hold area thereby reducing energy consumption, increasing temperature uniformity and drastically reducing dross generation.
