Muffle Furnace
Silcarb manufacturers Muffle Furnaces in the temperature range of 800° C- 1800° C. We make our own in house silicon carbide-based Muffle Furnaces which are highly thermally efficient.
We make muffle furnace that work under various atmospheres. All muffle furnace that silcarb manufactures uses either the alpha rod silicon carbide heaters or the mosil range of mosi2 heaters that are made in house. Heating is provided from two sides by the Heating elements. We manufacture assaying muffle furnace for the precious metal industry with gas-tight muffles. The ceramic muffle that our furnaces use is manufactured in house.
We manufacture Nitride Bonded Silicon Carbide (NBSC) muffles as well as al2o3 muffles. All muffle furnaces are completely programmable with a minimum of 8 programs with 8 steps in each program. Special igniters and draw out systems can be provided for ignitable volatile, etc. To meet the needs of different applications, our muffle furnaces are available in the temperature range from 800°C to 1200°C. In addition to this, we also design and manufacture high-temperature muffle furnace of up to 1800°C. All our muffle furnace feature a stainless steel compact housing with a dual shell lightweight construction for low external temperature and stability, In-house made heating elements, programmable PID controller and ensures safe operation. The furnaces are fitted with a Temperature Chart Recorder, Digital Data Logger and Printer to keep a record of the data being processed. Multi-Layered insulation keeps external surfaces cool to the touch. A door safety switch can also be provided that stops the power supply to the heating elements when the door is opened.
Silcarb specializes in lab-scale table-top muffle furnace all the way up to industrial production furnaces with a sic based single piece muffle. These lab-scale muffle furnace units are utilized in general-purpose heating in laboratories, ashing tests on wool, rubber, fibers or fabrics, fusing glass, creating enamel coatings, ceramics and soldering heat treatment requirements for gears and various research facilities in chemistry and physics.
We manufacture muffle furnaces which are completely airtight (retort furnaces) as well as simple front loading box type muffle furnace.
